Willie H Watkins

Willie Herman Watkins, born August 2, 1924, in Henning (Lauderdale County,) Tennessee, peacefully passed away after a lingering illness on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the age of 94. 

Preceded in death by his wife Irene Watkins, and dear friend and companion Thelma Dixon. 

He is survived by his beloved daughter Janet Jones-Allen, son-in-law Joseph Allen, sisters Grace Washington, Hattie Reeves, Minnie Watkins, & Barbara Taylor. 

Willie was the proud grandfather of James (Trish) Jones of Sultan, Washington, Dedrae (Alaynena) Jones of Seattle, Washington, Tanya Wainwright, and Tarian of Tennessee. 

He is further survived by a host of nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11am-12pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Renton, WA
