Virginia Ann Grayson

Virginia Grayson, born Green, was born to Jewel and Geraldine Green in Lufkin, TX on July 23, 1955. Although she was born in Texas, Seattle was her home. She attended Rainier Beach High School and later earned her GED after giving birth to her first child, Cedric in 1975. She later met and married Jasper Grayson (1985-1994) and to their union two children were born, Marie and Curtis (JJ).

Virginia loved people and worked various jobs in and around the Seattle area. Her kindness, generosity, selflessness and resourcefulness allowed her to care for people wholeheartedly and with great abandon. She truly was an angel here on earth to her loved ones and a great many people including all of her adopted children who affectionately referred to her as “Mom”. 

In the early morning hours of Tuesday April 6,2021, Virginia Grayson, beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend passed away at the age of 65 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved Mother and Father, Jewel and Geraldine Green. Our Mother will be remembered dearly by her children Cedric, Marie and Curtis. As well as her grandchildren Jamonney and Damaree. A host of adopted children, 8 brothers and sisters, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She will be missed tremendously.
