Sharon Louise Taylor, 88, of Renton, WA passed away the morning of June 18, 2025 with family and the hospitable assistance of the staff at R&K Blessing Care Adult Family home.
Sharon was born on the 2nd of December 1937 in Springfield, Oregon to William Blades Harrison and Lucy Catherine Fair. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Peggy & Dora, her brother Bob, and her late daughter, Pamela Jean. She is survived by her brother, Bill, 95 years. She is also survived by her son, Bradley Alden.
Being an Oregon Ducks fan, Sharon also loved and cherished her family, friends, and her own pets. How the children clung to her as well. She was in a very special way, the apple of their eyes just as they were hers. She was lighthearted, outgoing, friendly, deeply intelligent and wanted everyone to feel at home. In her retired years she studied her family genealogy, initiated and finalized a large family reunion. To keep in touch with family and friends, she enjoyed challenging them at FB games and putting funny posts on her FB wall. She also had a special gift at hairstyling well into her retired years, as well as cooking, baking and hosting big family gatherings. For many years she took charge of yearly Thanksgiving meals in her lovely home with the best-ever recipes. She also enjoyed card games, solitaire and word puzzles.
At the age of 87, she embraced the Catholic faith with its fullness in Christ and on June 14th, 2024 and two of her extended family friends who felt the same way, Dona, 77 and Roy, 88, were baptized together at St. Stephen the Martyr Parish in Renton where they could celebrate Sundays together. She is inurned at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Renton, WA. She is lovingly remembered and greatly missed. May our Lord rest her beautiful soul.
