Robert Lee McNabb

Robert (Bob)  L McNabb passed away peacefully on Dec 18, 2020 he was 97 years old.  Bob grew up in  Phoenix AZ . He left Phoenix in 1943 when he joined the US Navy.  Bob served in the Navy during WWII as a hospital corpsman in the South Pacific.  He was also active duty during  the Korean War, but remained stateside.  While in the Navy, stationed in Bremerton, Bob met his wife, Alice Neal McNabb of Renton WA.  Bob and Alice were married for 55 years before Alice’s death in 2002. Bob worked as an automotive parts manager, worked construction and as a machinist for Boeing.  Bob loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.  He was a wood carver and wood worker.  He loved his family and  friends.   He is preceded in death by his wife Alice. Survived by his daughter Terri Sloan, grandson Nick Sloan, Godson’s Russ (Kristin) Orstad and Rick Orstad. A graveside service will be held at Mt Olivet Cemetery Dec 30 at 2:00pm.
