Myrna Lucille Dailey was born in Topeka, KS in 1937. She moved to Seattle at the age of 7, where she
grew up. She met the love of her life, Billy A. Dailey, whom she married in 1955. Myrna became a
homemaker, raising 5 children. She was an active christian and was devoted to her church. She loved
reading her bible, singing God’s praise, and sharing the love of Jesus with others. She also loved
spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Myrna enjoyed sewing, embroidering,
puzzles and going to the car races with family. She also enjoyed camping trips with the Boeing
Roadrunners and Old Time Fidler’s. Her favorite flowers were purple iris’.
Myrna and Billy took many trips to Alabama to visit family. One of her favorite stops was in Branson,
Missouri. She also made a trip to Germany, several trips to Florida, Cheney, California, and Mississippi
to see family. One of her favorite trips was to Israel with her church where she was baptized in the Red
Sea, which was a lifelong dream of hers.
Myrna was a very giving person. She was always there to help out anyone in need. She went out of her
way to make sure people had food, shelter and anything else they needed. She never said no to anyone.
She was also a strong, determined woman and kept her family together after losing her husband in
2003. She fought hard through many tough times and pulled through.
She is survived by her son Danny (Kris) Dailey, daughters Becky (Paul) Wright, Terry Dailey, Sandra
(Rod) Olson, Sheryl (Ken) Martin, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, sisters Martha Henderson,
Mary Newland, Geri Evans, Ida Everett, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her husband Billy A. Dailey, parents John (Lottie) Thompson, birth mother Theresa Siebert, and sister
Margaret Ashe.
Myrna will be greatly missed by her family and friends. “We love you to the moon and back, Mom.”
