Mark M. Chervets
Partner of Elena Don, Father of Kirill, Gabby, Mitchel, Max, and Anthony Chervets
Born: Kiev, Ukraine, USSR
Died: Maple Valley, Washington, USA
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark M. Chervets, who left us peacefully in Maple Valley, Washington on November 13th, 2024. Mark was born in Kiev, Ukraine on January 4th, 1960 and made his home in the United States over 30 years ago. A devoted father and beloved partner, Mark's life was a testament to hard work, love, and perseverance.
Mark is survived by his children; Kirill Chervets, Gabby Chalk (Chervets), Mitchel Chervets, Max Chervets, and Anthony Chervets, as well as his grandchildren, his loving partner Elena Don, his parents Sofia and Michael Chervets, and his brother Oleg Chervets and his family.
Mark's journey to America was not an easy one. He arrived with little money, and a poor understanding of the English language, but possessed an immense drive to succeed. Through grit, perseverance, and sheer determination, he worked tirelessly to overcome the many challenges of adjusting to a new country and culture. Mark’s focus was always on his family—ensuring that they would have a better life, full of opportunity and hope. Mark owned several businesses over the years while also spending more than 20 years in the automotive industry. His work ethic and determination were the foundation of his success. He built a life from the ground up, working multiple jobs and sacrificing his own comfort to provide for his children and ensure their future success.
Mark's love for his family was unmatched. He enjoyed camping and fishing in eastern Washington, anything boating or fishing, and often shared those moments with cousins, uncles and aunts, and family friends. He cherished family trips to Israel and Mexico, where memories were made that will last a lifetime with grandparents and cousins. One of his greatest joys was spending time with Elena, whether working together on daily tasks around the house or on family ski trips to Whistler, always supporting and appreciating one another.
Mark’s legacy will live on through the love and lessons he shared with his family and friends. Mark was a gentle hearted, kind and loving person, who filled a room with his positivity and humor. He is very loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him
The family encourages everyone who was touched by Mark's life to remember him with fondness and love.
